For those whose friends, boyfriends, cousins, second cousins, sisters, mothers, fathers have supposedly drawn this image first, hear me, hear me very well.
I have what's called the poor man's copyright - that is - the DATE I posted this piece is sufficient enough to prove this artwork is mine. October 2004. You cannot change the dates of the original posting through editing. DA won't let you.
Please, please stop embarrassing yourselves and accusing me of stealing my own work. I admit, it was amusing at first, but now it's just sad. Stop coming on my comment board with your guns a'blazin that your *insert random relation here* drew this picture.
They did not.
And if you were really smart, you would tell them to take the pic down before they got reported for copyright theft.
04/13/08: If anyone sees this picture on any sites but DA, and if anyone sees this picture ON DA, and my user name is nowhere in sight: that means the picture is stolen. I want to know about it. Note me and report the user who posted it. Thanks.
She is gorgeous hon... Your pencil sketch alone could stand to be a regular deviation, so I can't wait to see the painted version. For some reason, her nose in particular is what gives her so much of her charm.
It's always good to experiment with all sorts of art traditions, I'm very happy you think like that as well.
I know, but not all anime looks like that. Her face is more Shojo-shiney-eyes but the way her body was drawn [or at least shaded] looks very different. There ARE more realistic and less huge-eye styles of anime, you know...
but hey, I'm just giving advice. Take it or leave it. *shrug*
Looks awesome. The only thing that looks a little odd, in my eyes, is her hair, with the way its so... well, I'm going to kick myself for using this word, but... 'Poofy'. I'm aware that there are hairstyles like that, but... well, it looks a little odd. Maybe too exaggerated?
Regardless, this looks amazing. This is the kind of art I take mental notes on.
Well I suppose this is just "my" style....I am really not going to change anything about it. ::shrugs:: You are more than welcome to not view the final piece, if it bothers you that much....I am really not here to please everyone.
I did give her smaller eyes just to see how it would look....but it just looked like anyone else's anime drawing...in which that is not how I would like the piece done.
thanks though for the comment.
